229 Market St. JOB

11/6 @0911 Company 2 dispatched along with mutual aid units to a reported residential structure fire in the area of Green and High streets. Chief 2-1 (Worner) went in the area with the second floor of a 2 story residential home converted to apartments well involved in the rear of 229 Market street. Rescue, Truck, and Chief 2-1 arrived with Rescue crews stretching 2, 1 3/4" attack lines and beginning an aggressive interior attack, and Truck 2 setting up on side A. Due to conditions deteriorating, Command pulled interior units out and allowed Truck 2 to flow its master stream to darken down the bulk of the fire. Interior crews then returned to their attack and began opening up while Truck crews from Truck 2 and 10 began overhauling the roof. At 1001, Command 2 marked control.
