Barn Fire East Hanover Twp.

11/4 @0141 Tanker 2 was dispatched to East Hanover township in Dauphin County to assist with 2 barns fully involved. Both barns are estimated to have over 3,000 tons of hay within them. Tanker 2 arrived and shuttled water from a fill site to the scene while crews attacked the fire with numerous step guns, and master streams from Truck 35 (Linglestown). Tanker crew continued this process until going available at 0634.

At 1600, Engine 2 was requested to the scene to assist watching over the fire, and make sure there was no spread to an adjacent barn, and field. Engine crew remained on scene until 2200.
