Rts 11&15 Extrication

10/5 @0419 Squad 2 dispatched to the ramp from  S Rts. 11&15 to E Rts. 22&322 for an accident with injuries.  Chief 2 (Worner) arrived to find an overturned tractor trailer with one occupant confined inside.  Squad 2 crew accessed the roof of the cab with a 14' roof ladder and removed driver from upright side of truck.  A flathead axe, windshield saw and hydraulic cutters were used to remove the windshield making access to remove occupant @0440.  Crew assisted EMS with patient packaging.

No hazards were detected.

Traffic 2 controlled traffic around scene.

Cleared @0500.
